East Coast Bikepacking
From August 24 - October 17 2024, I rode my bicycle from the northern end of Maine to the end of the Florida Keys, traversing about 3000 miles across ~53 days. It's something I'd wanted to do for years, and something I'm not sure I'd ever have the opportunity to do again, so I went all in and did my best to document it all!

Most of the documentation took place on my Instagram (it was just the easiest way) so check out my stories if you want to see the tons and tons of vlogs and pics I took. I have been updating my daily journal (retrospectively), so check that out starting with Day 0, the journey up to Maine with my parents.

You can also see the my rides and routes on RideWithGPS and Strava. And finally, there are plenty of pics that didn't make it to Instagram, which you can check out in my Google Photos album.

I Fundraised!
I Fundraised!
I raised money for Bikes Not Bombs, a local non-profit in Boston. Their mission is to "use the bicycle as a means of social change", providing bikes, lessons, training, tools, and more for underprivileged communities in Boston and the global south.

They're a great organization and II raised about $1900 or their cause. I'd hoped to reach $3000, about $1 for every mile of my journey, but I'm so grateful to everyone who did donate. That said, it is still open, so please check out my fundraising page to learn more and give what you can.

I'm averaging just over 70 miles each day of cycling, but obviously some days are going to be longer/shorter than others.

Daily Journal
Daily Journal
I hope to keep a daily journal of my thoughts on the day's ride (both before and after), plans for the evening, and photos I take along the way. There's a lot here, I know, but it's a long trip!
