I had considered not taking a rest day, instead stopping in Augusta, Lewiston, or Brunswick then moving onto Portland. But I looked into Augusta a bit and it just seemed quite... empty? Not much interesting to see/do for even a night, so instead it'll be the longest day of the trip so far on top of some tough climbs. 

Unfortunately that doesn't leave much time to see Portland. If I've not already had any, perhaps I'll grab a lobster roll before leaving Maine tomorrow...
